West Palm Beach police, aided by federal and state agencies, dismantled a major drug trafficking network in a two-year operation dubbed "Operation Old School," resulting in 33 arrests including eight alleged leaders charged with racketeering and drug trafficking.
The investigation, linked to a surge in fentanyl-related deaths, led to the seizure of over seven pounds of fentanyl, nearly $179,000 in cash, nine firearms, and other narcotics.
The effort, supported by the SAFE grant program and part of the state attorney’s FORCE initiative, targeted a widespread network across Palm Beach County and was bolstered by community tips.
