Korea’s COMEUP 2025 startup festival launched in Seoul, showcasing 275 global startups and focusing on AI, climate tech, and innovation.
COMEUP 2025, Korea’s largest startup festival, kicked off December 10 in Seoul, featuring 275 startups from 46 countries and seven national pavilions including Saudi Arabia and India.
Organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Startup Forum, the three-day event at COEX focused on innovation in AI, climate tech, Gen-Z founders, and family-run ventures under the theme “Recode the Future.” Keynote speakers included Tareq Amin of HUMAIN and Sunghyun Park of Rebellions, with sessions covering AI’s impact on mobile apps and entrepreneurship.
Over 2,000 business meetings were facilitated, involving 35 major corporations, alongside side events like the K-Startup Grand Challenge Demo Day and Venture & Startup Awards.
