Death & Co has opened in Brisbane’s Toowong district, marking its first Australian location in a partnership with Australian Venue Co. Housed in a heritage-listed former club, the bar features original brickwork, intimate seating, and candlelit corners designed to foster conversation. Venue manager Samantha Katsikas emphasizes personalized service rooted in the bar’s two-decade legacy. The cocktail menu includes classics like the Naked & Famous and Oaxaca Old Fashioned, plus new drinks such as the Telegraph and Buko Gimlet. Light fare includes truffle popcorn, kingfish crudo, lamb burgers, and fried chicken skewers. The Studio lounge will host live music after the New Year. Open Sunday–Wednesday 6pm–1am, Thursday–Saturday 4pm–2am.
