Tejas Networks wins top spot for 7 of 12 BharatNet Phase III packages, deploying 50K+ routers across India’s rural regions.
Tejas Networks has been selected as the top supplier of IP Routing equipment for seven of the 12 BharatNet Phase III packages announced in India as of December 11, 2025.
The company will deploy over 50,000 of its indigenously developed TJ1400 routers across 9 states and 5 union territories, covering more than 57,000 Gram Panchayats and 2,000 Blocks.
The rollout, using IP-MPLS technology, supports India’s effort to expand high-speed broadband to rural areas.
Tejas Networks, a Tata Group company, is working with five major Project Implementation Agencies to accelerate the project and strengthen the nation’s digital infrastructure.
