The 2025 Taiwan International Student Design Competition concluded in Taipei on December 9 with 76 winners selected from 16,329 submissions by 1,029 schools across 73 countries and regions, reflecting a 0.5% winning rate.
Organized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education and hosted by National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, the competition’s theme "Diversity" aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
New categories in Architecture & Landscape Design and Fashion Design expanded its scope.
Taiwanese students won the Grand Prix, gold in Visual and Fashion Design, and 43 awards total.
Prizes included gold, silver, bronze, honorable mentions, and special awards sponsored by the iSee Taiwan Foundation and others.
The ceremony was followed by a public exhibition of winning works at the NTUST Art Gallery from December 9 to 14.
