Platform Aerospace integrated ASI’s SNITCH RF sensor onto its Vanilla UAS in under three weeks, enabling GPS-denied, long-range surveillance.
Platform Aerospace and Applied Signals Intelligence integrated ASI’s SNITCH RF direction-finding payload onto the Vanilla ultra-long-endurance UAS in under three weeks, completing concept-to-flight by December 4, 2025.
The compact, low-SWaP sensor, weighing 4.5 pounds and measuring 6 inches in diameter, uses ultrawideband EMVS technology to detect and geolocate RF signals from HF to 6 GHz (up to 18 GHz optionally) with 300km range and 360-degree coverage.
It operates autonomously without GPS, supports real-time data via ATAK, and enables wide-area surveillance and sensor cueing.
The integration, achieved in under 30 minutes, highlights the potential of modular open systems architecture for rapid deployment of ISR capabilities in contested, GPS-denied environments.
