A 41-year-old power-assisted bicycle rider was struck by a car at a busy Singapore intersection on December 9, 2025, while crossing against a red pedestrian signal. The collision, captured on video, occurred near Bishan Road and Bishan Street 11, sending the rider airborne and scattering parts of his bike. The man, wearing a helmet, was conscious and stood unassisted before being taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital in stable condition. The 43-year-old driver stopped, assisted the rider, and is cooperating with police, who are investigating the incident. Authorities have not disclosed further details.
