Kneecap and Micil Distillery launch limited Irish-language-themed poitín on Dec. 12.
Belfast-based Irish-language rap group Kneecap has teamed up with Galway’s Micil Distillery to launch a limited-edition poitín, with 1,200 naggins priced at €32 each.
The spirit, made from Connemara poitín aged in oak casks once used for a monk-made tonic wine, will go on sale December 12 at 1 p.m. via micildistillery.com.
The collaboration, described as bold and unapologetic, celebrates the Irish language and cross-cultural creativity.
