Four French nationals have been charged in connection with a $10 million luxury burglary in Canberra on October 15, where over 70 high-value items were stolen, including a $5 million Richard Mille watch and rare Patek Philippe and Hermes pieces.
The suspects, who arrived in Australia on October 7, allegedly used a rented vehicle, changed license plates, and were arrested four days later in Sydney.
Some stolen goods were recovered from a Wentworthville rental, while others remain missing and are believed to have been shipped to France.
Australian and French authorities are collaborating to recover the remaining items, with an international alert in place.
The men were extradited to the Australian Capital Territory and are set to appear in court in January.
