Formation Metals finds wide gold zones in Quebec, boosting potential for large open-pit mine.
Formation Metals has reported significant near-surface gold mineralization in three new drill holes—N2-25-006, N2-25-009, and N2-25-011—at its N2 Gold Project in Quebec, with intercepts of 102.6, 135.7, and 166.8 meters, respectively.
The results, part of a fully funded 30,000-meter drill program, show continuous, wide mineralization in the "A" zone with quartz-carbonate veining and sulfide minerals, consistent with historical high-grade zones.
The findings support the potential for a large-scale, low-strip open-pit gold resource, with only about 35% of the strike drilled.
The company has C$13.4 million in working capital and a $8.1 million exploration budget for 2025–2026, including tax credits.
