On December 11, 2025, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha distributed appointment letters to 41 next of kin of terrorism victims from the Jammu Division, along with 22 individuals in age relaxation cases and 19 wards of fallen police personnel, bringing the total to 135 families receiving government jobs. The appointments, part of compassionate hiring and rehabilitation efforts, aim to provide economic security and long-overdue recognition to families who endured decades of loss and hardship. Sinha highlighted past tragedies, including the 2005 Rajouri killings, and credited Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah for dismantling the terror network. He warned against separatism and misinformation, stressing legal consequences for such acts, and called for public cooperation in rebuilding the region.
