Capella Minerals has started its first diamond drilling at the Killerö gold-copper project in northern Finland, targeting the Killerö E anomaly within the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt.
The initial phase includes 11 holes totaling 2,200 meters, focusing on a 1-kilometer stretch identified by Base of Till geochemical sampling showing elevated gold and copper.
Drilling, fully funded under a September 2, 2025, earn-in agreement with Turkish firm Tümad, will pause from December 22 to January 2 and resume January 3, 2026.
Capella is also evaluating nearby Jolhikko and Seisunselka targets with characteristics of Precambrian orogenic gold systems.
The company holds an 80% interest in Killerö and maintains a 10% carried interest in Norway’s Løkken project.
