SpaceX launches 27 Starlink satellites on Dec. 10, 2025, with booster landing in Pacific.
SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base on December 10, 2025, between 12:54 a.m. and 4:54 a.m. PST, deploying 27 Starlink internet satellites into low-Earth orbit.
The mission, timed for optimal orbital mechanics, includes a planned landing of the first-stage booster on the droneship "Of Course I Still Love You" in the Pacific Ocean.
Residents in parts of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties may hear sonic booms or the initial rumble of liftoff.
