Litchfield Minerals found a large copper-zinc deposit in Australia, boosting its stock and plans for further drilling.
Litchfield Minerals has discovered a major copper-zinc deposit at its Oonagalabi project in Australia’s Northern Territory, hitting 148 meters of mineralization including 90 meters at 0.6% copper and 1.8% zinc.
The find, the largest to date at the Main Zone, confirms a continuous, thick, near-surface polymetallic system extending over 3 kilometers, with additional high-grade intersections and potential depth to 500 meters.
The discovery supports an intrusion-related model and resembles the nearby Jervois system.
The company, now well-funded with a $6 million raise, plans continued drilling and surveys into early 2026, while its stock has surged up to 480% since October.
