On December 7, 2025, U.S. skydivers reclaimed the world record for the largest flag flown during a freefall jump, deploying a 3,200-square-foot, 170-pound American flag over Arizona.
The Pearl Harbor Day event, led by retired Army Ranger Jariko Denman and entrepreneur Jared Isaacman, nearly doubled the previous record set by a Libyan team in October.
The jump, which required elite skydivers and custom engineering, was certified for submission to the Guinness Book of World Records.
All team members landed safely.
