ALPA India warns of aviation safety risks from pilot fatigue, GPS spoofing, and regulatory inconsistencies, prompting a parliamentary briefing.
ALPA India has been invited to brief India’s Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture about safety concerns including flawed implementation of Flight Duty Time Limitations, pilot fatigue, and rising GPS spoofing incidents at major airports.
The association criticized a temporary DGCA exemption for IndiGo, calling it a safety risk and unequal regulatory treatment.
