Actor Darius McCrary, known for "Family Matters," has been released from a Michigan jail after pleading no contest to five felony charges related to unpaid child support and failing to appear in court.
Arrested in October near Tijuana on an out-of-state warrant, he was held in San Diego before being extradited.
His legal team said he missed the court date because a notice was sent to a PO box he wasn’t checking due to illness, including recent COVID-19.
McCrary, 49, is scheduled to be sentenced in February 2026.
The case involves past custody disputes and allegations from his 2019 divorce, which included claims of harm to his daughter, though he denied them.
