He has previously challenged Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and was arrested during a Capitol dispute. The special election, set for January 2026, will be nonpartisan with a single ballot; if no candidate wins a majority, the top two advance to a runoff. Greene has not endorsed any candidate and has stated she has no plans for future political ambitions. Other candidates include Star Black and Jeff Criswell.
