The Pakistan Peoples Party has condemned the Indian film Dhurandhar for allegedly using former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s images without permission and falsely portraying the party as sympathetic to terrorism.
PPP spokesperson Sumeta Afzal Syed called the depiction a malicious distortion of Bhutto’s legacy and the party’s history.
The film, released December 5, 2025, has drawn both commercial success and political backlash, highlighting tensions over cultural representation and historical accuracy between India and Pakistan.
