In November 2025, India’s MOIL, the largest manganese ore producer, achieved record production across its Nagarnar plant, surpassing 100% capacity utilization in key units, setting new daily and monthly output highs for raw materials, sinter, and hot metal, while achieving a record-low fuel rate of 519 kg per tonne of hot metal.
The plant also launched two new steel grades for infrastructure use, extended converter lining life to 4,799 heats, and improved efficiency through power cost savings.
