Prateek Jhawar to lead Macquarie’s India real assets division starting Jan 2026.
Macquarie Asset Management has named Prateek Jhawar, a former Avendus executive with over 20 years of experience in infrastructure and real assets, as head of real assets in India, effective January 2026.
He will lead the firm’s investment strategy in infrastructure, renewables, and digital assets, overseeing origination and deployment.
Macquarie, which has invested over $4.2 billion in India since 1999, employs more than 1,900 people across three Indian cities and manages $634.5 billion in global assets.
