Police in Bangladesh found six homemade guns in a grave, linked to a nearby weapons workshop.
Police in Bangladesh recovered six locally made firearms—five single-barrel guns and one pipe gun—from a damaged grave in Jagadishpur, Noakhali, on December 7, 2025, after a tip-off to the national emergency number 999.
The weapons were found during cemetery cleanup and seized by Begumganj Police, then transferred to Chandraganj Police for investigation.
Authorities have not identified suspects or disclosed the weapons’ origin or intended use.
The discovery follows a recent uncovering of a weapons-making workshop in nearby Lakshmipur, raising concerns about illegal arms in the border region.
