Philadelphia will debut as a cruise homeport in April 2026 with a new terminal serving Norwegian Cruise Line.
A new cruise terminal at Philadelphia International Airport’s Tinicum site, set to open in April 2026, will make Philadelphia a major cruise homeport for the first time.
Developed by PhilaPort and ETMT, the 16-acre facility will serve Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), which will operate 41 annual sailings through 2033, including seasonal trips to Bermuda and other destinations.
The opening aligns with the U.S. 250th anniversary, aiming to boost tourism and provide locals with convenient access to international getaways without long drives or flights.
Construction is underway, and the project is expected to stimulate regional economic growth.
