"One Battle After Another" wins top honors at LA Film Critics Awards, boosting its Oscar chances.
"One Battle After Another," directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, has won Best Picture and Best Director at the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, adding to its growing list of accolades from groups like the New York Film Critics Circle and the National Board of Review.
Anderson’s film, inspired by Thomas Pynchon’s "Vineland," also earned top acting honors for Rose Byrne, Ethan Hawke, Stellan Skarsgård, and Teyana Taylor.
Other winners included Jafar Panahi for Best Screenplay, Adolpho Veloso for Best Cinematography, and "Little Amélie or the Character of Rain" for Best Animation.
