Mary Kay opened a new preschool in Sri Lanka, funded by a €42,000 donation, to provide safe education for 50 young children.
Mary Kay Inc. has opened its 11th preschool under the Pink Changing Lives® Program in Dankotuwa, Sri Lanka, providing a safe, modern learning space for 50 children aged 3 to 5 in the Puttalam District.
The September 2025 project replaced a structurally unsafe school and includes two classrooms, restrooms, and a playground.
Funded by a €42,000 donation from Mary Kay Germany and the Reiner Meutsch FLY & HELP Foundation, with support from Hemas Holdings PLC, the school is officially recognized by the Sri Lankan government, which will supply teachers and cover operations while donating the land.
The initiative is part of Mary Kay’s broader effort to advance women’s empowerment and education, building on over $230 million in global support since 1996.
