Former NAFCO CEO challenges Ghana's property freeze, citing unlawful actions and lack of notice.
Former NAFCO CEO Abdul-Wahab Hanan has challenged a property freeze imposed by Ghana’s Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), arguing the ex parte order issued on October 21, 2025, was unlawful and violated his constitutional rights.
He claims the four Tamale and Kpalsi properties targeted were acquired before his tenure or are not his, and that EOCO failed to provide proper notice or legal basis.
Hanan, who was arrested in June 2025, alleges warrantless searches and unlawful detention.
The High Court will hear his motion on December 18, 2025.
