Delhi CM awards Pratika Rawal ₹2 crore for her key role in India’s 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup win.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has awarded Pratika Rawal, a key member of India’s 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup-winning team, a ₹1.5 crore reward, with an additional ₹50 lakh from the DDCA.
Rawal, a right-handed opener who played for Delhi and later Railways, scored 308 runs in seven matches, finishing as the tournament’s fourth-highest run-scorer with an average of 51.33.
Despite an ankle injury during the group stage that kept her out of the knockout rounds, she joined teammates in celebrations and participated in national felicitation events.
The CM hailed her as a symbol of Delhi’s youth and modern Indian women’s strength.
