18-Year-Old Student Fatally Stabbed in Southampton Post-Semester Celebration; Three Arrested.

An 18-year-old University of Southampton student, Henry Nowak, died from a chest stab wound during an altercation on Belmont Road in Southampton on December 3, 2025. He was celebrating the end of his first semester with football teammates. Police arrested two men, aged 22 and 26, on suspicion of murder, released a 51-year-old man on bail, and detained a 52-year-old woman for allegedly assisting an offender. Authorities are seeking witnesses and CCTV footage from the Portswood and St Denys area between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.
