A 69-year-old Medford man, Randall Runge, was found dead in Washington Flowage, Taylor County, Wisconsin, after going missing during an ice fishing trip on Friday, December 5, 2025. His wife reported him missing at 4:17 p.m., prompting a search involving multiple agencies and specialized dive teams. Authorities discovered a sled trail leading to open water where a sled was recovered. Runge’s body was pulled from the lake with no signs of foul play, and the cause of death remains under investigation.
