The labour force grew by 3,900, boosting the participation rate to 61.8%, the highest of the year.
Services jobs surged by 6,600, driven by growth in business support, education, retail, and finance, while goods-producing jobs declined by 2,000, mainly due to losses in manufacturing and construction.
The provincial unemployment rate also dropped to 7.2%.
