The Sardar@150 Unity March, marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, concluded on December 6, 2025, at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat.
Organized by India’s Ministry of Sports, the 11-day national padyatra saw over 1.4 million youth participate in more than 1,300 local marches.

Radhakrishnan presided over the closing ceremony, praising Patel’s legacy in uniting over 560 princely states and emphasizing the event’s role in promoting national unity, youth engagement, and values like discipline and self-reliance.
The march, aligned with national initiatives like Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047, included community activities such as cleanliness drives, tree planting, and women’s welfare camps.
United Nations Ambassador Evans Afedi also honored Patel as a global symbol of unity and leadership, highlighting his enduring relevance for peace and cohesion.
