Human remains found on December 5, 2025, near Trainwreck Rapids in Brunswick Canyon, Nevada, may belong to Robert Lawson White, a kayaker who vanished in June 2023 with fellow paddler James Martin, whose body was recovered that summer. Carson City authorities secured the scene and recovered remains, clothing, and artifacts on December 6. The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting forensic tests to confirm identity. White’s family has been notified, and the investigation remains active.
