On December 2, 2025, Danny J. Belisle Jr., 50, of Topeka, was arrested in Shawnee County, Kansas, after fleeing on foot following a vehicle stop at a KWIK Shop near Morse and Topeka. Deputies detained the driver but pursued the passenger, using a drone, K-9 unit, and Real Time Crime Center support to locate and apprehend him in the surrounding neighborhood. Belisle was booked into Shawnee County Department of Corrections on felony interference with law enforcement and two additional felony warrants.
