The annual Christmas Tree Ship arrived at Chicago’s Navy Pier on December 6, 2025, delivering 1,200 free Christmas trees via the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw, honoring the 1912 voyage of the Rouse Simmons.
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem joined volunteers in unloading the trees, which will be distributed to families in need through community partners.
