Vanity Fair and Olivia Nuzzi agree to end her tenure by year-end amid new allegations from her ex-fiancé about her ethical conduct involving Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Vanity Fair and writer Olivia Nuzzi have agreed to end her tenure at the magazine by the end of 2025, following new allegations from her ex-fiancé, journalist Ryan Lizza, who accused her of unethical conduct related to her relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., including involvement in efforts to influence media coverage and possibly handling confidential opposition research.
Nuzzi, who joined Vanity Fair after being fired from New York magazine over the same relationship, has acknowledged ethical lapses but defended her honesty in her book "American Canto," which detailed her entanglements with Kennedy.
The magazine said it was surprised by Lizza’s claims and is reviewing the situation, while Nuzzi’s future remains uncertain amid ongoing scrutiny.
