Fox was honored for rehabilitating Lock 7’s historic mitre gates on the Welland Canal, safely removing and scrapping gates weighing over one million pounds each despite harsh weather.
Salit Steel received the reinforcing category award for delivering 10,000 tonnes of steel and 2,400 tonnes of stainless rebar—Canada’s largest such effort—for the Gordie Howe International Bridge, using a modular off-site assembly system to boost safety and efficiency.
Both projects were recognized for innovation, safety, quality, and collaboration.
