Marjorie Taylor Greene quit Congress after clashing with Trump over releasing Jeffrey Epstein documents, which the DOJ must disclose by Dec. 19.
Marjorie Taylor Greene said in a CBS 60 Minutes interview that Donald Trump was furious when she signed a discharge petition demanding release of Jeffrey Epstein-related documents, claiming he believed it would harm people.
Despite Trump later signing the bill into law, he had previously dismissed the files as a political distraction.
Greene, who announced she would not seek re-election, cited a deteriorating relationship with Trump, his withdrawal of endorsement, and threats to her family as reasons for her resignation.
The DOJ is required to release the files by December 19.
