Grizzly planers recalled in U.S. and Canada over debris-ejection risk; stop use and get free repair.

Health Canada has recalled 12 Grizzly G0815 planers sold in Canada and 2,290 in the U.S. due to a safety hazard where the adjustment rod may allow the chip breaker to contact the cutterhead blades, ejecting debris and posing impact and laceration risks. The tool, made by Ruihan Precision in Taiwan and sold between July 2016 and July 2024, has no reported injuries in Canada and none linked to the seven U.S. incidents. Consumers should stop using the planer immediately and contact Grizzly Industrial for a free repair kit. Recalled products must not be resold or given away in Canada.
