A 5-foot singing nutcracker statue, installed outside Luke Allum Funeral Directors in Sheerness, Kent, was stolen on December 6, 2025, during the holiday season.
The festive attraction, which played music and brought joy to children returning from school, was part of the business’s seasonal community efforts.
Kent Police have arrested two men, aged 39 and 59, both from Sheerness, in connection with the theft and are seeking witnesses or CCTV footage.
Owner Luke Allum emphasized the statue’s emotional value, stating it is irreplaceable despite being worth £250.
The case remains under investigation.
