A cyberattack on Barts Health NHS Trust exploited a vulnerability in Oracle’s E-Business Suite, compromising patient and staff data including names, addresses, and financial details, with stolen files posted on the dark web in November.
The breach, linked to the Cl0p hacking group, affected data from Barts Health and potentially Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.
While clinical systems remain secure, authorities including NHS England and the National Cyber Security Centre are involved, and Barts Health is seeking a High Court order to block further distribution.

The vulnerability has since been patched.
