On December 2, 2025, Yunnan Province unveiled its top 10 travel experiences at a Singapore event hosted by Trip.com, spotlighting destinations like the Yuanyang Rice Terraces and Xishuangbanna Rainforest. The promotion emphasized cultural immersion through ethnic cuisine, traditional crafts, and intangible heritage, supported by a lifestyle zone featuring local food, Yi embroidery, and attire. Yunnan highlighted 240-hour visa-free transit in key cities, tax refunds for shoppers, and expanded air links via Kunming Changshui Airport serving 37 international routes, mainly in Southeast and South Asia, to boost tourism and regional cooperation.
