Tama County wrapped up major infrastructure work, including the PCI Bridge and E66 paving, and approved new bridge and culvert contracts. Officials also finalized winter road maintenance plans amid heavy snowfall and moved forward on hiring road foremen. Economic development progressed through a partnership with the Marshalltown Chamber and an updated land-use plan. The board resolved a past HR termination with no findings of wrongdoing and set a 10% FY27 budget holdback. Sick-time limits were waived for an employee facing surgery, and wind-project road access will be reviewed after winter.
