The team aims to revive U.S. participation in the competition, with plans to develop advanced technologies and assemble a high-performance crew.
The effort is supported by the American Sailboat Racing Foundation.
The 38th Cup will be held in Naples, Italy, in 2027, with New Zealand as defending champion and Great Britain as challenger of record.
