Azerbaijan resettled 66 displaced families in liberated Jabrayil village, part of its post-war recovery effort.
Azerbaijan has resettled 66 former IDP families in Horovlu village, Jabrayil district, as part of its "Great Return" program to repopulate territories liberated in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The families, displaced since the 1990s, received keys to newly built homes equipped with modern amenities and access to essential services. The village, rebuilt with schools, medical facilities, parks, and restored irrigation systems, symbolizes Azerbaijan’s broader post-conflict recovery efforts. Residents expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, and the military. Additional resettlement projects are planned for 2026, including in Lachin’s Gorchu settlement.
