Waymo has expanded its self-driving car service to Philadelphia, beginning fully autonomous tests without human safety drivers, following approval from Pennsylvania’s DOT.
The company, a subsidiary of Alphabet, is deploying its fleet in downtown Philadelphia with plans to expand to suburbs, using Jaguar and Chrysler vehicles.
