A truck struck an Amish buggy in Indiana, killing two elderly occupants on Dec. 2, 2025.
A tragic crash on December 2, 2025, on U.S. 20 in LaGrange County, Indiana, killed Marvin Shrock, 75, and Ruby Shrock, 74, a Shipshewana couple, when a white 2019 Ford F550 dump truck driven by 20-year-old Gael Reyes of Sturgis, Michigan, struck their Amish buggy.
The collision occurred just after 3 p.m. near County Road 1000 West as the buggy traveled east on the shoulder.
Both victims died at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured.
Indiana State Police are investigating, with no evidence of drugs or alcohol involved.
The crash highlights ongoing safety concerns on rural roads where slow-moving vehicles share space with large trucks.
