Tesco gives away free imperfect Christmas trees at 10 UK stores on Dec. 6 to promote holiday authenticity.
Tesco is giving away free, slightly imperfect Christmas trees at 10 UK stores on December 6 as part of a campaign promoting the joy of imperfection during the holidays.
The trees, which have minor flaws like uneven branches or slight leans, are not sold in stores but offered one per household on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10 a.m.
The initiative, part of the “That’s what makes it Christmas” campaign, aims to celebrate authenticity and togetherness, aligning with research showing most Britons believe Christmas doesn’t need to be perfect to be meaningful.
Shoppers are encouraged to donate to food charities Fareshare and Trussell, though donations are optional.
