Chris Brown and Summer Walker were named top R&B artists of 2025 by iHeartRadio’s Rewind, launched December 4. Brown topped the list, followed by Usher, Mary J. Blige, and SZA. Walker’s collaboration “Good Good” with Usher and 21 Savage led the Top R&B Songs, followed by Brown’s “Residuals” and her “Heart of a Woman.” SZA’s tracks with Kendrick Lamar, “Luther” and “30 For 30,” ranked highly on both R&B and overall charts. Brown celebrated his 20th music anniversary with the Breezy Bowl XX World Tour, featuring Walker as a guest, and released new songs including “Holy Blindfold” and “It Depends” with Bryson Tiller. Walker released her double-disc album Finally Over It, a 18-track project with multiple collaborators.
