Accused individuals Giovanni Laulu and Younes Ali Younes appeared in court, with Laulu granted bail under 22 conditions including a ban on visiting Jewish places of worship, while Younes remains in custody.
Prosecutors must provide all remaining disclosure, including CCTV, phone intercepts, and search data, by March.
The case is set to return in April.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese condemned the attack, and Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan pledged $100,000 for rebuilding.
