Andhra Pradesh approved 480 acres for Google-linked AI data centers with 1 GW capacity, part of a $15B investment.
The Andhra Pradesh government has approved allocating 480 acres in Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli to Adani Infra for AI data centers with 1 gigawatt capacity, part of a project exceeding ₹87,500 crore.
The initiative, linked to Google via Raiden Infotech India, will be built to Google’s high standards and consume power equivalent to half of Mumbai’s annual usage.
The state will offer ₹22,000 crore in incentives, with multiple partners including Adani and Bharti Airtel authorized to access benefits.
The project, approved Nov. 28, 2025, marks a major expansion of Google’s India investment, now at $15 billion.
